Dear American press, Sir David Attenborough is not a ‘British Voiceover Artist’

Hey Z100 New York, that man that “will make Adele LOL” with his narration of her music video is not “this British Voiceover Artist”, he’s David f*cking Attenborough.

‘Sir David Frederick Attenborough OM CH CVO CBE FRS FZS FSA’, to be precise, a broadcaster and naturalist.

He doesn’t just lend his voice to nature documentaries, he is very much part of them, travelling around the world to study and delight in different animals.

He has honorary Doctor of Science awards from the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford and an Honorary Doctorate from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa.

Sir David has received the title of Honorary Fellow from Clare College, Cambridge, the Zoological Society of London, the Linnean Society, the Royal Society of Biology and the Society of Antiquaries.

He has several newly-discovered species and fossils named after him, including a goblin spider (Prethopalpus attenboroughi) and an Indonesian flightless weevil (Trigonopterus attenboroughi).

His latest series, The Hunt, is on BBC One, Sundays at 9pm.

Glad we cleared that up.
