LINCOLN – Connie Magaw, who launched her voiceover business on April 4, is now running an in-home studio where she can create audio files for customers seeking a voice for commercials, corporate announcements and trainings, on-hold telephone messages and narrations.

Magaw, who went to school for radio and television broadcasting at the former Sawyer School in Pawtucket, said she prides her business on customer service – a field she worked in for about 25 years.

The Lincoln resident formerly worked at Heritage Cable in Lincoln and Comcast Cable in Foxboro, Mass., after working in radio for some time.

Magaw can now be found recording in her home, where she promises a 24- to 48-hour project turnaround time.

Magaw said rates vary depending on the project requirements, and if the message will be used temporarily or permanently by clientèle. Magaw explained she can convert her projects to any file a customer wants, and will send the audio files electronically.

Business hours to contact Magaw are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information or to hear samples of Magaw’s work, visit or email .
